The company Perlite Italiana has been in the market since 1951, when the at that time "Società Italiana della Perlite", decided to install in Corsico (Milano) the first furnace for expanding the raw material.

The varied uses and applications of expanded perlite bacame wider during time and determined the creation of different products whose performances where estabilished due to the specific applications themselves.
The Company performed new tecnologies and specific systems for different trades, filing the trademarks and utility model applications.
Perlite Italiana has been commercializing for 25 years, with it's own brand, the thermo-insulating perlite based panels produced by Thermal Ceramics de France in Wissembourg plant, and for more than 15 years Cafco products, leader in the market of passive fire protections in construction.
