Perliround is the solution used for the construction of roundabouts and traffic island, using specific substrates of high accumulation of water, xerophytic plant species and mulching surface layers, that acts to reduce evaporation and ensures sustainability of water to the vegetation in conditions of stress.
The solution provides the basic layer of Igroperlite ® (average thickness of 10 to 15 cm) and the substrate Agriterram® (thickness from 5 to 50 cm), varying depending on plant species taken.
The mats Igroperlite ® spread moisture evenly ensuring a uniform green, provide better water sustainability by reducing the needing of irrigation, are lightweight and easy to install.
Agriterram ® substrates, due to their physical and chemical characteristics at the 'absence of weed seeds, ensure an optimal development of vegetation and minimize maintenance.
The stratigraphy can be applied both on permeable ground and impermeable soil (sealed soil-bituminous or asphalt).To realize roundabouts on surfaces previously sealed with asphalt, concrete or other materials, you can not make dismantling them and realize the profile of the round with a simple filling with traditional drainage materials (sand-gravel mix, aggregates, etc.) or variables layers of Igroperlite bags.
