"The design of steel structures for safety in case of fire".

The course will comprise two days devoted to the issue of structural safety in case of fire: the focus will be placed on performance steel structures should ensure to meet the safety standards set by regulations and the general criteria are the basis for the verification of requirements to ensure safety in case of fire of a body of structural steel.
Participants of the course will be distributed educational materials and technical documentation updated about new legislation.

The courses are organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior - Department of Fire, the Fire Brigade and the Regional Directorates of the Professional Engineers and Architects of cities where events will take place.
The first meeting will be in a Genoa on 22 and 23 April 2009.
Followed by two further events taking place in Palermo during June 2009 and Milan in October 2009 (dates will be announced shortly).
